Fishing date with Daddy.

Hallie and Jon went on a fishing date a while back.  I am just now managing to upload these photos...I must say I like being behind sometimes...I get to relive and enjoy these moments all over again.  I remember her running to me and telling me she caught a fish and how much fun she had.  She was beaming...she felt special...and her standard was raised for her future mate.  She has an amazing daddy....I am so thankful for him!

My little Bo-be.
Can it be?  A year?  It just doesn't seem possible.  You, my sweet boy, are now one.  It is just crazy how fast this year flew by!  You brought so much JOY to our home this year.  Your sweet disposition and energy has filled our hearts.  You are covered in constant love from your sisters...even though you manage to fill your little hands with their hair from time to time. :)

Bo-be, being a momma to a boy has brought on some new emotions and thoughts I didn't ever expect to have.  I always thought football and hockey were great sports for boys...but now I find myself hoping you pick sports with less contact. :)  However, I remind myself that you are your father's son.  I learned quickly that you love noise and action.  Suddenly, noisiness and banging objects loudly are acceptable behaviors in our home.  As I think of your sweet face now, it is covered with whatever you ate for your last meal and a huge, contagious grin.
Also, I must tell you how proud your daddy is of you.  I don't think he thought he would ever have a boy!  He now has a fishing and hunting buddy...he is thrilled to say the least!  He always manages to get a good "belly-laugh" out of you too!  I love seeing my men together.

Lastly, Bowen Thomas, our prayer for you is that you follow Christ.  We pray for a deeply-rooted faith in HIM!  Run towards HIM, sweet boy!  He will never leave you.....always guide you....give you strength....and through Him all things are possible!

Yep, Daddy is her coach this year!

Hallie started soccer this year!!  She is really aggressive and competitive...so, it is a match made in heaven!  She is a great hustler and scores lots of goals!!  We are really enjoying watching her!

Bath time!

Bath time with 3 children= Wet and wild time!  Seriously!  Plan to be drenched and wiped out by the end of this lovely experience!

Harper Roo

-She pretend plays all day long.  Her beloved "Sopy" (Sophie) is her favorite 2 inch companion right now!
-She is a spicy.  She knows what she wants!
-She has discovered her femininity.  Hilarious, but not blog appropriate story.  I will never forget it!
-She still loves her binki...although she only get's it occasionally at nap time!
-She is learning her letters, numbers and shapes.
-She is still a momma's girl!
-She is a rebel in her carseat and often can be found unbuckled! UGH!
-She loves Bowen a lot but can sometimes love him a little too much!
-She talks about playing with Gi Gi and Kaila in the nursery!
-She is the life of the party already.
-Her hair is a sandy blonde and waves/flips at the ends.
-Her eyes are hazel surrounded by dark, thick lashes.
-She wears size 2T and some 3T.
-She loves to change her clothes and dress up.
-She has a strong preference for certain shoes.
-She takes her hair out a lot but loves getting it done!
-She still seems like a baby to me.  She loves to cuddle and rock at night!
-She loves being with her grandparents and Aunties and Uncles!
-Her favorite food is peanut butter anything.

She is a whole lot of fun right now and SOOOOO darn cute!  Two is one of my favorite ages!  Love my little Roo!
