We had an awesome day today!! I took the girls to the pool for the day and we met up with several friends! One special friend came today (Katie Nicholson) and it was sooo great to get to catch up with her. She is a forever friend...those are not always easy to find outside of your family...so I feel special to have her! :) Hallie was pretty jazzed about her too...she kept reminding me that Katie took her down the slide and that they had matching swimming suits!! TOO CUTE! We also went boating tonight with some friends from church! We had a blast!! It was a great chance to get to know them better and a lot of fun too! Hallie road the tube with Daddy!! It was so amazing to see her out there because she typically is sooo cautious! Harper was such a trooper through it all! She rarely fussed and was her super, sweet self. She is an amazing baby and I love her oodles!! Kind of a random post but just wanted the memory!

I have LOTS of photos to upload for this event!! It was quite the event! It was so much fun to celebrate such a special person! We all wore our red airplane shirts designed by my cousin Jen! They were sooo cute!! It was a great weekend filled with lots of family time as we prepared for the event!! One of my cousins was the brains behind the decor...so she put us to work! :) I think the pictures do a great job of showing just how much FUN we had!
I have been without a computer and internet for some time now...So, Now I will be playing catch up! We have been SOOO wonderfully busy! MEANING: Everything that we have been busy with has left us with precious memories that we will never forget! Moving was a huge step this month! We are getting settled-I will be sure to add some before and after photos. We haven't done everything that we want to do to our house...but painting and some other little things sure gave her a facelift! We also have celebrated Nick's graduation, Gpa's 80th, Father's day and sooo much more!
Hallie took her first flight this last month with Papa Bruce! It went flawlessly! She seemed to love it!! My biggest fear was that she would cry the whole time...She was such a champ!!! I have never been afraid of flying...I have been going up since birth...but I did have a slight moment of fear...the "what if" crept into my mind knowing that my 2 year old was going up!?? It was just a split second thought...I trust my Dad more than commercial pilots!! Here are some photos from our flight! It was a breathtaking evening in good 'ol Iowa! (First flight airplane was in Dad's Bonanza)
